Jens Menzendorf has many years of experience in commercial management, particularly in the areas of finance, controlling and accounting. His expertise includes corporate planning, forecasts, simulation calculations and the identification of efficiency and improvement potential. In addition, he has in-depth knowledge of project, investment and financial controlling as well as the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements through to consolidated financial statements, including consolidation and closing entries. Thanks to his hands-on mentality and in-depth knowledge of processes, he is able to present complex issues in an understandable way and work directly with the relevant specialist departments. He also has experience in the implementation of BI tools and is adept at using MS Office and special controlling software solutions such as Qlik Sense and LucaNet.
He holds a degree in business administration from HHU and Gelsenkirchen University of Applied Sciences, specializing in accounting, financing and controlling. In consulting, he has specialized in commercial issues, particularly in the areas of digitalization (AI), process management and efficiency improvement. He also has extensive experience in corporate restructuring and tax issues. His project management expertise includes the scaling of projects, project tracking and the development of project structure plans. In doing so, he ensures that costing targets and margins are met.
The world of interim management is new to him, but he already has a lot of experience in related areas. Across all sectors, he is particularly active in mechanical and plant engineering, especially in wet processing technology and tunnel construction. Here he has successfully managed projects with a volume of up to €15 million. He has further expertise in special civil engineering, food production (especially sausage and long-life bakery products) and environmental recycling, such as floor washing systems and steel mill dust recycling. In his free time, he enjoys reading, spinning and motorcycling.
